We are ecstatic to be collaborating with this major client who are on the lookout for another superstar to join their ranks. The need for this cloud solutions business for the hotel industry is to find a Lead Software Engineer to come lead a small to medium team in the Sydney office.

What does the role look like for you?
You'll be leading a small to medium size team to deliver projects across event based micro services and architecture. The team is well over 70 engineers and together, you'll be part of the imminent transition over to micro services architecture. You'll also be responsible to guide a team to build software solutions according to requirements while also mentoring your team, teach them the best practices and guiding them through new technologies and languages.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

• A few years of experience using NodeJS to build beautiful software products
• Experience working with Spring (Core, MVC and Boot)
• A polyglot in programming languages who is still learning the newest ones
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Experience building Micro-services architecture at scale
• Interest and experience in DevOps
• AWS experience across the following products EC2, Kinesis, SQS, Elasticache, Lambda, S3
• Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science or Software Engineering

This role can pay up to $150k + Super, depending on your skills and experiences.
