We are seeking a Finance Manager / Analyst to join our clients team at their headquarters located in East Brisbane.

As a Finance Manager, you will oversee both online and retail financial operations within the company. Collaborating closely with the executive team, their current Head of Finance FMCG, and external Accountant, your responsibilities will include crafting financial strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Accounts Payable/ Receivable 
• Analyse and monitor financial performance, preparing relevant reports
• Develop promotional strategies and conduct financial analysis for these initiatives
• Supervise cash flow and manage accounts payable and receivable
• Oversee foreign currency operations
• Provide ad hoc financial reporting as needed by directors
• Ensure adherence to financial laws and regulations
• Conduct risk management and financial analysis
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance financial efficiency and profitability

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a Finance Manager or similar role
• E-commerce experience preferred, but not mandatory
• Thorough understanding of financial regulations and laws
• Familiarity with Australian taxation laws
• Knowledge of currency markets and foreign exchange rates
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in XERO, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets
• Experience with Shopify or similar platforms for data management and report generation
