JDP are partnered with a leading SaaS company headquartered in Brisbane with offices in Melbourne, seeking a highly motivated and strategic GM to join their Brisbane office. A relocation package is on offer for suitable candidates looking to make the move.
  
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of their product strategy, optimizing resources in line with deliverable priorities, and managing the budget for the business unit. You will be expected to provide thought leadership, adopt data-driven decision-making, and identify opportunities to maximize long-term profitability and viability of the product. Additionally, you will be required to lead and develop a high-performance team, foster a positive motivated culture and continually challenge the status quo to drive business practice enhancement.
  
Essential skills and experience for this role include:

• Background in SaaS ERP or Enterprise ERP software solutions
• A solid engineering/architecture background (approx. 10 years) and clear understanding of today’s coding practices and technologies. While you won’t be coding, you need a solid understanding .
• The GGM will lead senior leaders and a team of 90 (across different timezones), overseeing areas like Product Development, Architecture, and Customer Support.
• We’re seeking a leader who excels at guiding General Managers and senior teams, not just teams of engineers and architects
• Strong commercial expertise with full ownership of the P&L for group products, driving growth, profitability, strategic investments, and effective resource management
• Must be based in Brisbane or open to relocate here.
