Reporting directly to the CTO, you will initially be working in a team of 3 senior software developers - two mid-level and one junior.
  
Alongside supervising and empowering their daily development output, you'll be building processes that allow this team to scale. You'll be expected to have input into technical decisions that affect the long-term technical direction and scalability of the company.

Unit testing is a thing. 
  
Your day will look like this: 

• You grab a coffee from the cafe next door, and a blueberry muffin to eat later.
• You start at the time that works for you and your team.
• Daily standup meeting to create shared awareness, keep everyone's focus explicit, and remove any blockers for your team.
• You eat the muffin.
• You check the build status and commit logs for any problems.
• You help one of your developers with a problem he is having and show him how to better structure a class for testability by injecting its dependencies.
• You head into the city for city lunch and catch up with a few senior developers and team leads from other companies over lunch.
• Back in the office in the afternoon, you write some .NET core code and push it to the build system.
• You take a break and grab a coffee with one of devs on your team at a cafe, and talk about how she wants her career to develop over the next year.
• You check the builds are green, and the production systems are green, then head home. 

Your week will also include:

• Touching base with the founders on business direction and current objectives. 
• Discussing with the CTO the technical and high-level architectural aspects of the software and the team you are building. You're both looking at how to architect what you are building now for the next level of scale.
