JDP are on the hunt for a talented and technically minded Product Manager to join a growing and dynamic product development consultancy. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of some truly impactful innovations across various different industries.

What do they do? Well in a nutshell they work with their clients to build prototypes, products and solutions that have a huge impact on the daily lives of consumers. This can be anything from electronics, hardware, software, manufacturing, web apps – the sky is the limit! So this is not a consulting role, this is a company/role where products are designed in house, whilst still interacting with clients on a regular basis. 

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to step into a hybrid role—part Project Manager, part Product Lead—in a collaborative and flexible team environment. This is what your day might look like:

• Translate complex client requirements into clearly defined, actionable tasks for the technical team.
• Manage timelines, risks, and priorities across multiple projects.
• Lead project delivery with a strong handle on communication, planning, and execution.
• Interface directly with clients, providing clarity, confidence, and strategic insight.

While the role leans towards product leadership, there’s still a strong need for someone who can wear multiple hats—keeping delivery sharp, teams aligned, and outcomes successful.

Who We’re Looking For

• A strong communicator with the confidence to own client conversations and guide teams.
• Someone from a technical background—ideally in electronics or firmware—who understands the nuances of engineering-led product development.
• A strategic thinker who can zoom in on technical detail and zoom out to keep sight of product vision and commercial goals.
• Experience in a design consultancy or product development agency environment is highly valued
