Our client is a world innovator and specialist in open-world, multiplayer, virtual reality training and entertainment. With their technology, you will explore any virtual environment just like the actual one with your body acting as the controller. The world's most immersive and engaging free-roam virtual reality experiences are being made by their creative team, which is based in Melbourne, Australia.
  
Your role
  
You will work to design and create engaging game systems, in-game features, and prototypes for the free roam VR system, whilst contributing to overall game design to produce top-notch experiences for all clients.
As a member of the content team, you’ll oversee creating and improving organizational frameworks, operational procedures, and coding standards for our gaming systems. To assist in integrating our content inside the framework of the organization, you will collaborate closely with the Platform, Client Services, and QA teams.

About you and the role

• Solid experience writing code in C++ and Unreal Engine aspects like architecture, profiling and reusability
• Previous experience with C# would be a bonus
• Ability to create reusable Modules, Plugins, Components, Templates and Libraries in Unreal
• Provide time estimates for scheduled work
• Helping Platform and Client Services Teams with technical support questions
• Support designers and artists with implementing new features, prototyping capabilities and applying their art and tools to make them more self-sufficient
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers where required
