Job Opportunity: Senior .NET Developer – Government 12 month contract.
We’re looking for experienced and highly skilled Senior .NET Developers to join a dynamic team supporting the delivery of a range of ICT programs and projects within a federal government environment.
You’ll play a key role in uplifting existing codebases and contributing to enhancements and system improvements across enterprise-level platforms. An active NV1 security clearance is required prior to starting.

You’ll play a key role in uplifting existing codebases and contributing to enhancements and system improvements across enterprise-level platforms. An active NV1 security clearance is required prior to starting.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior .NET Developer, your role will include:
- Taking part in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), enhancing and maintaining C#-based, multi-tier enterprise applications in line with government standards.
- Creating and maintaining automated build and deployment scripts using .NET Core and the wider Microsoft technology stack.
- Working within Agile delivery frameworks, utilising tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Collaborating with technical and business teams to resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
- Providing analysis and input on complex technical problems, contributing to planning, policy, and project management activities.
- Building and maintaining key internal and external stakeholder relationships to support project and organisational objectives.
- Offering expert-level advice and reporting on functional areas of responsibility.
- Making informed decisions using sound judgment, experience, and best practice guidelines within regulatory frameworks.
- Sharing insights, improvements, and reusable components with a central development team to support continuous improvement.
- Supporting wider business and operational readiness activities, including contributing to planning and delivery of critical events as needed.
- Undertaking additional tasks as directed by leadership in alignment with organisational priorities.
