Just Digital People are working with a successful and exciting gaming business in the South East Suburbs. We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to join this fantastic organization.

I have worked with these guys for a long time and they are easily one of my favourite clients in Melbourne, they have a great team of fun and collaborative people who don’t take life too seriously. They offer excellent work life balance and a cool and interesting product to work on.

You will be working their core gaming product, mainly working across web and database technologies. Ideally you would have been using the below tech stack for a few years and have a keen interest in learning new technology as you go.

What skills do you need? 

• Good knowledge of C#, SQL, HTML, CSS
• Experience with ASP.NET, Angular or other MVC frameworks
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of CI/CD (e.g. TeamCity)
• Experience with SCM (e.g. Git)
• Understanding of Agile methodology
• Passionate about learning new technologies
• Strong interpersonal skills, self-sufficient and creative thinker
• Good understanding of basic security principles

What will you be doing?

• Designing, Implementing and Testing new software systems
• Full-stack software development including database, API layers and front end.
• Providing usability testing of proposed system developments/improvements.
• Developing software applications that integrate with existing systems.
• Work with the department head and senior management to ensure timelines are communicated and met.
• Presenting ideas for system improvements in line with a strategic roadmap.
• Work collaboratively with other Software Engineers, Deployment Manager and Test Engineers to test and rollout quarterly update to our promotional suite of products
