G'day, CNC Machinist's! Just Digital People has partnered up with one of Australia's leaders in Defence Technology, this award wining business is enhancing the protection of communities and nations through military and law enforcement collaboration worldwide. 
   
Located in the South Eastern suburbs, you'll be joining a dedicated team that works hard and knows how to have fun. They are established in their space with long standing relationships and loyal customers on a global scale. The business has been growing steadily over the years and is looking for a new CNC programmer / Machinist to join them in a permanent role. They have a well established machine shop, where you will be working with very modern machines / equipment. 

You will be able to take ownership of your work solving problems in the best way you see fit, make a real impact, and acquire a plethora of unique, industry-specific skills along the way.

The main skills and experience we are looking for include:

• Precision Machining Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing Applications (CAD / CAM ) 
• Material Selection for Specific Applications
• Hold a certification as a skilled fitter and turner
• Proficiency in Fanuc/ISO G Code with practical experience

Desirable:

• Forklift license
• Welding experience
• Be able to troubleshoot engineering processes and design changes
• toolmaking experience is a bonus
