• Lead Software Engineer
• Up to $185-190,000 base + Super + Bonus + Shares
• Melbourne CBD Location - 2-3 days in office / WFH

What does the role entail? You will be leading a small squad of very capable and highly respected cross-functional Engineers contributing to and innovating their suite of products. You will be providing thought leadership to the team as well as being very hands-on day to day.

The type of individual they are looking is someone who is a technologist at heart, if you like leading through technical delivery, making architectural decisions, and being the go-to person in your team then this role will fit you well.  They are looking for a team player (i.e. no big ego) and someone who enjoys problem-solving. With this being a technology leadership role you will do well if you enjoy interacting with stakeholders as well as being hands on. 

• With a predominiant focus on backend you will ideally have experience across - Golang, Typescript and React (If no Go, then then extensive experience with Microservices and a keen interest to work with Go could work)
• Cloud? Extensive experience AWS required 
• Experience leading and mentoring an engineering teams
• Experience with coaching engineers through technical as well as personal skills
• Tangible experience developing and implementing highly scalable and secure solutions
