Role Overview:

As a Technical Lead, your responsibilities include distilling stakeholder requirements to efficiently prototype, test, and develop products that meet user needs, add value for customers, and foster sustainable growth for the company. Leading a team and providing direction to suppliers, you play a crucial role in delivering a product of which you can be proud and that significantly contributes to the market. Your close collaboration with the Executive team involves understanding requirements, priorities, and constraints, ensuring seamless teamwork.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with leaders to understand and share the product vision, roadmap, and goals.
  • Manage the list of tasks needed for the product (product backlog).
  • Be the link between teams and those interested in the product.
  • Lead the design of the product.
  • Keep track and update the list of materials needed (BOM).
  • Help with making and testing the product.
  • Choose the right materials and suppliers for the product.
  • Work with the engineering team to make the product better.
  • Talk about and handle any risks, problems, or things that depend on each other.
What do we need from you?
  • Be able to develop systems with software components.
  • Integrate cameras, IMUs, and other peripherals on edge computers like Raspberry Pi, Rock Pi, and Nvidia Jetson.
  • Have experience in Embedded Linux and programming microcontrollers.
  • Collaborate effectively with specialists in machine vision and control.
  • Specialise in hardware miniaturisation.
  • Demonstrate the ability to transition seamlessly from prototype to the final product.   
Not needed, but nice to have:
  • Be able to compile Bill of Materials and source components
  • Have some knowledge about aeronautical products, more specifically sensors and their applications
  • Have experience across Electronics (PCB and CAD)
  • Experience with rapid prototyping
  • Be able to travel domestically when required
